Closure Clothes vs Birthday Clothes

I finally did it. I officially ended my first and last dysfunctional relationship. It really was an answered prayer, but very painful. I can be so childish sometimes! I had no idea. Which made an interesting and horrible Friday night. Until I got over to Sarah's. Sarah Smith and Amy Nause are the greatest girls. Amazing! They totally took over while I was in freak mode and made everything seem ok.

I woke up to Mother's call at 6:30am. I was supposed to be at the airport at 7. Another answered prayer. My flight was delayed until 8:30. I got to Atlanta to be met by my fantastic little sister and Mother who took me shopping for closure clothes. When it's really over and you hurt, the Christian girls go shopping to make it all better. And it was SO much better!! Especially for someone who usually hates shopping! But I now own white pants and I can't tell you what happines white pants can bring you!
Saturday night we went to the Braves game. We ate footlong hotdogs and peanuts. And Mother had gotten us skyline view tickets. The most amazing night for a baseball game. It was during the 7th inning that the Braves came back. We were all four chopping and jumping and yelling. It was the greatest evening ever! Except Jenny wasn't there. That was sad and strange.
Sunday we went to church w/ Laurie and Jimmy and took pictures of them outside the building for their wedding invitation. Then we went shopping for birthday clothes after church! MORE fun!! Mother and Laurie bought me so many clothes that I had to borrow a suitcase to bring them all home in! Finally Jenny and Colby made it to Atlanta and met us at Maggiano's for birthday dinner. The Christian Family is really SO fun! Especially now with John and Jimmy.
It's so funny to watch Daddy with Colby. I remember the time when he thought everything that I did was so cute! Oh wait... he still does!
