Breakfast and Chili's

Katie Wilkinson is by far one of the funniest people I have EVER met! She makes my core hurt from laughter. We attended the same church in Nashville and went on the same mission trip to the Dominican Republic, so it only seemed right to volunteer for the same women's ministry together. The crisis pregnancy center where we volunteered has a breakfast once a month, so we decided to go support our girls this month.

On the way there, we saw this homeless man on the side of the road. The fact that he had on nicer athletic pants than some athletes I know and a CD player in his pocket made me question his homeless status, but the shopping cart was enough to convince Katie. So we offered him a donut on our way to breakfast. It was just one of those things you had to be there for, but we will continue to lose our breath laughing about this story.

So we had plans to meet all the girls at my favorite Mexican restaurant at 7. But around 3, Amy and I were starving. And Kim called to firm up plans and it turned out she was starving too! So the three of us met up at Chili's. You know when you're so tired that everything is funny? And you have a really hot waiter that you can't help trying to set your friends up with? And the coffee keeps coming like it's in a magic cup that just can't go empty? Yea... it was one of those times. 3 hours later, we left to meet the girls.
