Remember the big "scandal" w/ the Dixie Chicks back in 2003? Apparently a lot of people don't really know what happened so these three girls decided to make a documentary about it. Adam and Chad and I went to see Shut Up and Sing tonight. I'm pretty hard on movies, but this was definitely worth your 8 bucks. It was funny to hear how we thought things were going to go in Iraq almost 4 years ago knowing what we know now.
While they still don't play the Dixie Chicks on the radio, their cd is amazing. Not Ready to Make Nice is a strange video, but the song is among my favorites for the year. Trailing behind everything on John Mayer's Continuum cd, of course.
