More Wedding Showers

Laurie and Jimmy had a WONDERFUL shower in Atlanta for all their friends. Jenny decorated fabulously. Mother made a beautiful cupcake tier.

Sunday we had another shower at the church. It started off a little different than the normal church showers. Instead of everyone sitting in a circle to watch Laurie open presents, Wanda Hicks announced that we would open half the presents and then take a break to eat cake and then open the other presents. That little change up created more changes. People started telling stories about how special Laurie was to them. Even Grandma spoke up in front of everyone about how Jimmy had been a part of the family since day one. It was really very special!
