I finally finished Colby's 4th birthday present. The infamous "puppy dress" that took so many hours to make, but was SO rewarding finish! Jennifer Stubblefield is a smocking genius. I walked into the fabric shop and the older ladies there laughed when I said I didn't know what I needed because I had not sewn before. It was horrible trying to convince these women that I WOULD be able to make a dress in 4 days. We didn't go to sleep until after 3am, but by gosh my niece unwrapped a homemade puppy dress on her birthday!
