Movie church

While waiting on the new building to be built, Buckhead Church is trying something new -- Midtown Gathering. Shunte lives in Atlantic Station where it is being held, so we thought we'd give it a try this morning. I picked her up and we drove around the block to the Regal Cinema where people were standing outside welcoming us to church. Everything seemed normal so far.

We sat down to watch a video of a church service put together especially for the people there at the movie theater in Atlantic Station. Strange! Jeff Henderson (the Buckhead Church orchestrator) came out on the screen and told us how strange it was that they were doing this, but they had to try it out. The sermon was the same one everyone watches of Andy Stanley up in Alpharetta, but it was just very bazaar. Good sermon series right now. Twisted. About Romans 5.
