After the Lung Test and The DR Reunion Dinner

Amy and I decided to reward ourselves with breakfast "out" after being cooped up in the house all day. We got up to the counter at Fido where we ordered breakfast bagels and the most fabulous Cheddar cheese grits (might even be comparable to the goat cheese grits at Watermark) and specialty coffees. It was one of those moments when you can finally relate to someone that you've never thought you'd be able to relate to.... Know what I mean? Like at Bread and Company (Keith Urban's favorite restaurant), I love watching people get up to the counter with all this food and then realizing that a few things that cost 5 or 6 bucks REALLY add up fast. So it was US that this happened to this time. An 18$ breakfast for two. WHAT IN THE WORLD! But the cheese grits really were just amazing!

Last year, I went on a mission trip with some pretty amazing girls. And while memories of that trip are some of my favorites, we decided after carry cement blocks for days, that this would be our first and last mission trip. So this year, we decided to get together for a little reunion. Just so happened to work out that we had our dinner at the same time our church was down in the Dominican having breakfast.

Katie was married back in April and has just found out that she's pregnant! That big rock on her neck is "on loan" to make sure that she loves it and when she pushes a baby out, she gets to keep it. Nate makes having children look like something I might want to sign up for after all!

Jessika is hands down the greatest entertainer I've ever met. Martha Stewart has nothing on her! The food was absolutely amazing and the company was even better. We've got to do it more often.
